The Lady Lions have been a fixture on the national airwaves, garnering 118 national broadcasts since 1991. The Lady Lions have averaged 16 TV appearances per season over the last five years. Additionally, WPSU and the Big Ten Network also air the Emmy-winning “Courtside with Coquese,” the show with a behind-the-scenes look at Lady Lion Basketball.

The Lady Lions have extensive coverage in State College’s Centre Daily Times and The Daily Collegian, the student newspaper at Penn State. The major newspapers in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and the state capital of Harrisburg also cover the Lady Lions throughout the season. Over the years, the Lady Lions have been featured in many of the nation’s premier publications, including Sports Illustrated, USA Today and ESPN.com. The exposure of Lady Lion basketball is not limited to print, as every Lady Lion game can be heard on the radio on the Penn State Sports Network.
