
Russ Rose, just the second coach in the history of Penn State women’s volleyball, is in the midst of his 33rd season at the helm of the program. Rose has coached the women’s volleyball team to five NCAA National Championships, including the last four consecutive, and 14 Big Ten titles. With a career record of 1,033-164, Rose is the NCAA leader in career winning percentage, winning more than 86 percent of the matches he has coached at Penn State.

He has coached 20 Conference Players of the Year, 31 All-Americans earning 68 honors and 134 Academic All-Big Ten selections. Rose has coached internationally with both the U.S. men and women and has served on various committees, including the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Committee.
